FACEIT CS2 Match Analyser — live lobby and finished match breakdown

The Faceitstats.org Match Analyser is a free Counter-Strike 2 tool that reads a FACEIT matchroom URL or match ID and turns the public Data API into a readable lobby: two five-player rosters, avatars, skill levels 1–10, FACEIT Elo, team averages, map / region / best-of, match status, and an Elo-weighted win probability. Use it while you vote on maps in a live room or after the game to compare who actually had the stronger paper lineup.

This page is independent of FACEIT. We do not store your account, we do not require login, and we do not claim official ranking or anti-cheat data. Everything shown is reconstructed from documented Open API endpoints: match details, player profiles, and (when the match is finished) match statistics.

How to analyse a FACEIT matchroom

Paste a room link or match ID

Open any FACEIT CS2 matchmaking or hub room. Copy the browser URL — typically https://www.faceit.com/en/cs2/room/1-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. Paste it into the form above and submit. The analyser extracts the UUID (with or without the 1- prefix) and loads GET /matches/{match_id}.

Supported inputs

What loads during a live lobby

While the room is READY or ONGOING, FACEIT already publishes the roster. We hydrate each player_id with GET /players/{id} so Elo and skill level are current, not stale snapshots from the match object. Average Elo and average level are arithmetic means of the five players who actually queued. Win % is Elo-share: team A average Elo divided by the sum of both team averages. It is a transparent heuristic — not a machine-learning model and not FACEIT’s hidden MMR.

Live versus finished

What the analyser calculates

Team strength from FACEIT Elo

FACEIT Elo is the public competitive rating for CS2 matchmaking. Higher Elo generally means a higher skill level badge (1–10). By averaging Elo on each side we answer a simple question: “On paper, who is favoured?” A 200-Elo gap at high level 10 is still a small percentage swing; a mixed lobby with level 7 vs level 10 stacks will move the bar more. Always treat it as context for veto, not as a bet.

Per-player row

Each row links to the player’s Faceitstats.org profile (CS2 stats, match history, Elo). Country flags come from the player country code. Missing avatars fall back to an initial tile so the lobby still scans cleanly on mobile.

Map, region and competition

When voting is complete, the picked map (for example Dust2, Mirage, Inferno) is shown with region (EU, NA, SA…) and best-of. Competition name distinguishes default CS2 5v5 matchmaking from hubs or cups. Open the official FACEIT matchroom from the centre card if you need veto history or the in-client overlay.

Why use a match analyser in CS2 FACEIT

During veto

In a live matchroom you have seconds to decide bans. Seeing who is 3k+ Elo versus who is level 8 on the other side helps you decide whether to contest a default map or play for a mismatch. Pair this view with our CS2 EU leaderboard if you want global context for a nickname you do not recognise.

After the match

Paper favourites lose. The analyser plus the detailed match scoreboard shows whether the higher-Elo side actually converted. Use it to review your own queue, premade stacks, or hub games without opening ten FACEIT tabs.

FAQ — FACEIT match analyser

Is this official FACEIT?

No. Faceitstats.org is an independent CS2 statistics site. We use the public FACEIT Data API. For play, anti-cheat, and official results use the FACEIT client.

Does it work while the match is running?

Yes for roster, Elo, levels, and status. Round-by-round stats and final scoreboard rows appear after FACEIT publishes match stats (usually when the game is finished).

Why is win probability 50/50?

If both teams have similar average Elo, or Elo is missing on several accounts, the model stays near even. Private or new accounts can report empty Elo until FACEIT returns a rating.

Is the tool free?

Yes. No account, no paywall. Rate limits follow FACEIT’s public API — refresh reasonably during a live lobby.

Privacy

We request only public match and player payloads. Do not paste private tokens. Match IDs in the URL are the same identifiers FACEIT already exposes in the matchroom link.
